​For over 40 years, COWI Bridge has worked on design, rehabilitation and retrofit projects all over the world, including seismic capacity studies and rehab design and construction.

Modifying aging bridges to make them more resistant to seismic activity, ground motion or soil failure is imperative for safety. COWI Bridge continues to lead the industry in innovative and creative ways on rehabilitating and retrofitting seasoned bridges.

Most of the challenges with bridge rehabilitation involve producing creative and economical solutions while limiting the impact to traffic during construction. Our designers consider impacts to traffic for each project.

COWI Bridge exercises the proper care needed to maintain critical elements of all bridge types. We have led the design for several deck replacement projects, bridge bearing and expansion joint replacements, concrete jacking, cable protection and seismic retrofits.
